What we don’t do
- We do not require you to create an account.
- We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
- We do not sell, rent, or share user data with marketers.
- We do not store your reading history server-side. Bookmarks, if any, live only in your browser’s local storage.
What we collect
Server logs
Like every web server, our infrastructure (Cloudflare + our origin in the EU) logs the requests it receives. This includes:
- Truncated IP address (last octet zeroed).
- User agent (browser / OS).
- Requested URL and timestamp.
- HTTP status code.
These logs are kept for at most 30 days and are used exclusively to debug, prevent abuse, and produce aggregated traffic statistics. They are never used to personally identify a reader.
Cookies
Honeytoon does not set any tracking cookies of its own. Our CDN (Cloudflare) may set short-lived security cookies (e.g. __cf_bm) used to challenge bots — these are strictly functional and do not identify you.
Analytics
We use privacy-friendly, cookie-less, server-side analytics to count page views per route. No personally identifying information is sent to any analytics service.
Image content delivery
Manhwa pages are served from our branded CDN at cdn.honeytoon.fun (backed by Cloudflare R2). When your browser fetches a chapter image, it makes a direct request to the CDN — the same standard data described above (IP, user agent, URL) is recorded for that request.
Children
Honeytoon is intended exclusively for adults aged 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from minors and we do not target the service at anyone under the age of majority. If you believe a minor has accessed Honeytoon, please contact us so we can remove any related logs.
Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Because we don’t maintain accounts, we typically have no personal data to expose. If you nonetheless wish to request access, deletion, or correction of any data we may hold about you (for example, your IP address in a recent server log), email us at [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.
Third-party links
Some manhwa descriptions or pages may link to external sites we don’t control. Those sites have their own privacy policies — please review them before sharing any information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy occasionally. The latest version is always live at /privacy with a “Last updated” stamp at the top.
